Yager introduced a fuzzy screening procedure to select, from a large class of alternatives, a small subset to be further investigated. In his methodology the Kleene-Dienes implication operator was employed to find the unit score of each alternative by each expert. Generalizing Yager’s principle we suggest the use of Sand R-implication operators to find the unit score.
Modeling the suitability of land to support specific land uses is an important and common GIS application. Three classic models, specifically pass/ fail screening, graduated screening and weighted linear combination, are examined within a more general framework defined by fuzzy logic theory. The rationale underlying each model is explained using the concepts of fuzzy intersections, fuzzy unions...
introduction: studies have indicated a global high prevalence of hospital malnutrition on admission and during hospitalization. clinical nutritional risk screen (cnrs) is a way to identify malnutrition and manage nutritional interventions. several traditional and non-computer based tools have been suggested for screening nutritional risk levels. the present study was an attempt to employ a comp...
In this paper, a neural fuzzy system for the diagnosis of potassium disturbances is presented. This paper develops an adaptive neuro-fuzzy expert system that can provide accurate diagnosis of potassium disturbances. The proposed diagnostic approach has many attractive features. First, it provides an efficient tool for diagnosis of K+ disturbances and aids clinicians, especially the non-expert o...
nowadays balanced scorecard has a critical role in implementing strategies for many organizations. strategy map as the 3rd generation of bsc by inverting mission and vision into strategic objectives is the linkage between formulating and implementing strategies. however, the methodology of developing strategy maps has many ambiguities. this study with inspiring by other authors and exploring li...
Recently, Calantone, Di Benedetto, and Schmidt [2] presented an Analytic Hierarchy Process (Am) modeling approach to new product screening. The illustration of this approach is an example of a decision support model that seeks to aid managers in selecting new product ideas to pursue. In this paper we improve upon this initial AHP model using a "fuzzy" mathematical application. This use of fuzzy...
The purpose of shaking tables is to replicate the desired motion to specimen, which needs to ensure not only the synchronization precision of two tables, but the tracking precision for the desired signal. Due to the nonlinearity of system and eccentric of load masses, both tracking and synchronous accuracy are poor. To solve this problem, this article proposes a novel hybrid controller combined...
